Set of 4 synchronized winches for maintenance work on a bridge
Presentation
This set of 2 double-stacked double drum winches was designed to be used during maintenance work on a suspension ridge in Istanbul (Turkey).
Two winches are connected to the samed load and are synchronized to ensure the horizontality of the platorm throughout its travel. Security is ensured by doubling the carrier wire rope.
A specific function or temporary desynchronization of the winches allows the adjustment of the balance of the platform if necessary.
Technical characteristics
Capacity: 2 x 3 t, power: 400 V, speed: 13 m/min, max. drum capacity: 2 x 600 m, rope diameter: 14 mm, synchronization of the drum by absolute encoders.
Winch for captive balloon

Specific solution for rapidly covering and uncovering the SNCF waggons used for the transport of merchandise
Presentation
A system on arms, installed on the platforms between two loading tracks. Each winch is positioned between two waggons, with four cable outlets (upline or downline on each of the tracks) allowing for the opening or closing of the covers of the SNCF waggons.
The manipulators are controlled by one single radio control, for both the winding and the unwinding of the cable. Before each movement, the operator temporarily selects the manipulator selected for the manoeuvre.
Technical characteristics
Effort: 150 daN, speed: 25 m/min (45 m/min rapid and empty), a 28m Ø5 mm textile cable with a protective handle, shackle and hook. These winches are also equipped with a deflector and cable maintaining pressure rolls.
Autonomous trolley for opening and closing waggons
Presentation
Motorized trolley powered by a battery designed to assist the users on the opening and closing operations of the metal or tarpaulin wagon doors. Once the trolley is installed along the wagon, the user hooks the wire rope of the trolley to the door and can start to pull. This system provides a greater comfort of use to the workers, preventing the musculoskeletal disorders at the same time.
Technical characteristics
The system is equipped with a load cell enabling to stop the pulling action once the maximal effort is reached. There is also a high speed (5 km/h) to move around the warehouse. This one is then reduced to 2 km/h during the pulling operations.

For safety reasons they are equipped with a manual control.
Aeronautical winch

In march 2010, a well known european plan manufacturer trust HUCHEZ Engineering to develop a pulling electric winch allowing measuring the static atmospheric pressure in flight.
Used during the test fligths and installed in the rear of the plane, the winch measures the pressure of reference (measurment of "0") outside the aircraft via a pipe that is dragging between 60 and 120 meters behind its tail. This pipe allows bringing back the outside pressure to a pressure sensor (located on the winch) via a pneumatic slip ring.

Cable manipulators

Used in hostile zone, the cable manipulators are used to handle (branch maintenance) of THP plugs. The system is made of two independent motors and brakes.
