Tasked with setting up secure access to one of its construction sites, it faced a major challenge: hoisting heavy stones intended for the reconstruction of the north tower and spire of the Basilica Cathedral of Saint Denis several dozen metres above the ground to their final location, as close as possible to the work site.
There were numerous constraints: the schedule, limited space due to the scaffolding already in place, and the fact that the hoist initially envisaged was too bulky.
Consulted by our colleagues at the Neuilly-sur-Marne branch, our sales team proposed a reliable and proven solution for high-altitude lifting operations: an INDUSTRIA winch mounted on a motorised trolley installed on rails.
Technical characteristics of the winch:
- Force: 2 tons
- Lifting speed: 0.9 to 9 m/min
- Long drum model equipped with 80 m of 11.5 mm diameter cable
- Radio remote control.
Congratulations to the CHASTAGNER LOCATION assembly teams for installing the winch on site in collaboration with ENTREPOSE ECHAFAUDAGES.
Commissioned a few days ago, it will be moved five more times during the works, depending on the progress of the project led by the Association Suivez la flèche - Reconstruction de la flèche de Saint Denis.
Thank you to the teams at CHASTAGNER Location, ENTREPOSE ECHAFAUDAGES and SUIVEZ LA FLECHE for sharing the photos.
