It is in Scandinavia, renowned for its excellence in skiing disciplines, that two HUCHEZ winches have recently been installed. HUCHEZ was called on to work on the equipment used to mark the ski jumps.
HUCHEZ proposed appropriate solutions using standard equipment. The TE range of electric winches, and more particularly the TE 5000 and TE 7500 were thus selected to pull the carriage used to mark the parallel lines on the ski jumps from which the skiers start their in-run before taking off.
An application requiring reliable and sturdy equipment, for which both of these winches are fitted with a variable speed drive, a limit switch, a load limiter, a rope slack switch and an electrical unit fitted with internal pre-heating to ensure that the equipment operates correctly at temperatures falling as low as -30°C.
Also renowned for its high rope-winding capacity, this range of TE electrical winches is designed for all standard lifting applications up to 10 tonnes.
